Tina Fey pulled in a cool $13 million last year according to a new report and, to be honest, if anyone deserves that much money it is Liz Lemon. She writes, produces and stars in what is still (sorry Modern Family and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia) the best comedy on television and wrote one of the most hysterical memoirs of recent memory. So how did Eva Longoria manage to pull in the same amount of cash?

In fact, most of the list is somewhat startling. Longoria's Desperate Housewives castmates round out the top earners, with Marcia Cross banking $10 million and Teri Hatcher and Felicity Huffman coming in right behind her with $9 million. Among the other lucrative ladies listed are Mariska Hargitay ($10 million), Marg Helgenberger ($10 million), Courteney Cox ($7 million), Ellen Pompeo ($7 million) and Julianna Margulies ($6 million).

Perhaps the most upsetting thing about the list is that only woman who is truly involved in her show is Fey. Obviously if money was in direct proportion to talent Meryl Streep would be Hollywood's best paid actor, but these television salaries are startling. Especially when it must be assumed that actors like Elisabeth Moss (Mad Men), Katey Sagal (Sons of Anarchy) and Kaitlin Olson (Sunny), to name but a few, are likely making less than seven-figures for their critically lauded roles.

It is hard to say how any of these shows would fare if they lost one of their generously compensated actors, but is it really worth this much money to keep some of these ladies on television?
