Tina Fey's "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" Brings The Laughs

Tina Fey's brand new comedy, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, was released on Netflix this week, and has already been met with rave reviews.

Kimmy, which has received a current score of 93% on Rotten Tomatoes, stars Bridesmaids' Ellie Kemper in the titular role. The comedy revolves around Kemper's Kimmy being released from a doomsday cult and trying to start life over in New York City.

Broadway actor Tituss Burgess co-stars as Kimmy's gay, larger-than-life, aspiring actor roommate, and is an instant scene stealer.

Burgess, 36, recently told Out magazine that the show doesn't just use him as "the gay best friend."

"It’s kind of the least of the things they play up," Burgess says. "It’s more his entitlement, his delusional way of thinking, in terms of thinking he should be a star."

The comedy started streaming the full season on Netflix on March 6th, and a second season has already been ordered.
