An all-star lineup took the stage at 42West Sunday night to celebrate the 85th birthday of legendary composer Stephen Sondheim—including Lilla Crawford, Billy Magnussen and MacKenzie Mauzy from the recent film adaptation of Into the Woods, as well as Karen Ziemba, Catherine Walker, Hunter Ryan Herdlicka, Rufus Wainwright, Molly Pope and Chip Zien, who originated the role of the Baker when Woods premiered on Broadway in 1986.

The event doubled as a launch party for the DVD/Blu-ray release of Disney's Into the Woods film adaptation—hitting stores Tuesday—and a number of performers serenades the crowd with songs from that iconic musical.

Christopher Seiber and James Monroe Iglehart drew cheers and laughs with their duet of "Agony," while Tituss Burgess blew us away with a rendition of "Stay With Me." (Burgess, in fact, is the first man to play the Witch, in a regional production in Florida that had Sondheim's blessing.)

It was truly a magical night.
