Russell Tovey, the out British actor who caught our attention in the original Being Human, has been cast in HBO's new gay dramedy, Looking. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Tovey will play the recurring role of successful video-game developer Kevin,  who will work closely with Patrick, played by Looking lead Jonathan Groff. The two join Frankie Alvarez, Murray Bartlett and Scott Bakula in the highly anticipated series from director Andrew Haigh (Weekend).

As Hawaii edges toward being the next state to legalize marriage equality, Catholic Bishop Lawrence Silva warns the faithful that gay marriage will lead kids to commit suicide. “Children will be the greatest casualties, in that they will be deprived of being raised in a loving home by a mother and a father who loves them and whose love cooperated with God’s plan in creating them,” Silva explained in a letter. “When children are deprived of such a home, there will be more poverty, more social ills, more juvenile suicides, and more problems than we can imagine.”

Yes, more than we can imagine—because Silva has no actual data to support his claim.
