Tom Hiddleston Bares His Butt For Equality, Sebastian Stan Shades Zack Snyder: MEME

Pat Buchanan compares Kim Davis to his opposition to desegregation, "Angry Birds" trailer doesn't suck, Dalai Lama says any female successor would have to be pretty

Sebastian Stan doesn't seem too pleased with Zack Snyder calling Marvel movies "flavor of the week." In fact, he has his own commentary on Snyder's movies. “I would say we’re still making something very original in our own way. I mean, [directors Joe and Anthony Russo] are coming in and taking something people are used to and they’re shaping it up and changing it in a very different way. They’re not trying to mimic a better Christopher Nolan movie or something like that." The shade of it all.

An Oregon Court of Appeals has upheld a $400,000 fine against a bar that asked a group of transgender patrons to stop frequenting the bar because he thought it was hurting business. The owner left Rose City T-Girls a voicemail saying that business was down because people thought it was a gay or "tranny" bar.

When snicks showed you the trailer for the latest Dieux du Stade calendar, you may have noticed an impressive piece of meat flash by. That belonged to French MMA light heavyweight champ Sylvain Potard, and a lot of people thought the image had been doctored because of the size. Thanks to the fact that he has a gay porn past (jerk off only), you can be assured that he's packing what you see.

Unsurprisingly, Kim Davis lost her attempt to have Judge Bunning limit his expanded ruling to only the couples who sued. No doubt she'll be filing another motion with the District Court that told her she had to go to Bunning first. I can't imagine what Liberty Counsel is spending losing so many times, and knowing they're going to keep losing.

On a positive note, the introduction of the bill to make marriage equality the law of the land in Ireland was met with applause, and once the formalities are taken care of, we should have happily married couples by the end of the year.

On the Channel 4 documentary World of Weird, they interviewed a Brony U.S. Army soldier that says that it's harder to be a Brony in the Army than it is to be gay. “I would say a Brony just because at least in the US military, homosexuals can serve openly in the military now and there are protective laws against discriminating against homosexuals. You’re not going to get kicked out of the army for making fun of a Brony.”

Tom Hiddleston shows off his bare butt in Crimson Peaks in the name of equality. "It's so often in movies that women are more naked than men and that's unfair. We wanted to sort of redress the balance. "I didn't have a problem with the nakedness because I felt that there's always been a strain of sexuality in Gothic romance as much as there has been the fear of death and the threat of violence. It's a very violent film and I felt like we needed to balance that. So if we're going to bring up the violence we needed to bring up the sense of sexuality."

So Fox News cancelled an appearance by Donald Trump on The O'Reilly Factor and Donald Trump boycotted Fox News because of it. The interesting part of this was the statement that Fox New issued after the boycott. "When coverage doesn’t go his way, he engages in personal attacks on our anchors and hosts, which has grown stale and tiresome. He doesn’t seem to grasp that candidates telling journalists what to ask is not how the media works in this country.” Could Fox News be remembering what journalism is?

In her ABC interview, Kim Davis mentioned that her gay friends don't hate her. Rather than just letting that drop, Kentucky Equality and The Daily Beast have set out on a quest to find the gay friends of Kim Davis. So far, none have surfaced, and Davis herself has failed to actually name anyone.

You generally think of the Dalai Lama as very enlightened. It's kind of his thing. But not when it comes to women, or the possibility of a female successor. He said he'd support a female successor, but her “face should be very attractive, otherwise not much use.”

Have you had a raise recently? There's a very good possibility that you haven't, because an entire generation of men haven't. I had one in November only to have the Day Job roll it back in February. My boss hasn't had one in years, but when he retires, I'll be offered the job for more than he makes."Households, though, have been able to cover this up by having women enter the workforce and then getting raises. Well, at least they used to be able to do that. The problem now is that women’s labor force participation has actually been declining since the Great Recession hit, and their wages have plateaued over that time as well. That’s left households without any more escape valves to deal with the fact that men’s earnings haven’t gone up, in inflation-adjusted terms, for 40 years. It’s no surprise, then, that middle class households are worse off now than they were 16 years ago."

I doubt anyone sneered any more than I did when they announced the Angry Birds movie. It seemed like a dumb idea on a game that had already been stretched as far as it could be stretched. But yet...I don't hate the trailer. In fact, it's kind of cute. I mean, were the birds always angry? Did pigs do nothing wrong? Who is the real villain here?

Parents on Facebook are completely outraged by the children's book "Do You Want to Play With My Balls?" And it's easy to see why. While most kids could have the book read to them and think nothing amiss, to an adult's ears, it's quite racy. The problem is that the book is for adults, as a parody of a children's book.

You could spend your time discrediting Republicans and calling them racist and homophobic, or you could just let them do it themselves, as Pat Buchanan does here in an interview with NewsMax. He actually has a nuanced point that disobeying what you see as an unjust law is necessary, but you have to be willing to live with the consequences, like going to jail like Kim Davis did. Then he compares her refusing to issue marriage licenses to loving couples to him advising Nixon to fight school desegregation. Yep. I can totally see the parallel. Please, keep talking.
