Toni Braxton Makes Us Breathe Again With Massive Medley At Soul Train Awards

Legends only!

Toni Braxton gently reminded us why she’s earned her status as a music icon when she stole the show Sunday at the Soul Train Awards with a medley of some of her biggest hits.

The 50-year-old singer was presented with the Don Cornelius Legend Award at the ceremony and kicked things off with a performance that showed the crowd exactly why she’s worthy of such an honor.

Braxton’s act, which showcased past hits like “You’re Makin’ Me High” and “He Wasn’t Man Enough,” included a dance break and a costume reveal in which she ripped off the lower part of her dress to expose a short fringe skirt.

Jessie J then paid homage to the “Unbreak My Heart” singer with a tribute performance in her honor.
