Canada’s second biggest city is so gay they have not one (Toronto, we’re talking to you), but two BIG gay pride events every summer, just weeks apart. I went to the first one 10 days ago — Divers/Cite Montreal — which turned out to be a massive two stage fiesta of dancing and drag on the pier near the old town. And now this week, this city of festivals (they have a whole “spectacles” themed neighborhood…did we mention it’s rrrreal gay up there?) has just kicked off another pride fest called Fierte Montreal.
In case you’re thinking of visiting for this week’s big pride fest, we have one of the city’s most entertaining drag queens, Miss Tracy Trash, a regular performer at the city’s legendary Cabaret Mado, offering up her five favorite things to see/do. Okay six.
