The latest episode of Logo's "Fill in the Blank" digital series features Shane, a transgender man, and his partner Jess as they talk about love and what it's like to be in a queer relationship.

The two met four years ago through Shane's ex-girlfriend, who was Jess' roommate. After their "incredible" first date at a rave, the two became a couple.

"Anyone who is in a relationship with a trans person, they are attracted to that person," said Jess. "It is normal. It is human and it's life."

And what advice do they have for other trans people who are going out in the dating world?

"Don't settle for less than you're worth. I did that for so long—I thought me being trans was my baggage," revealed Shane.
