Trans Women Dominate The Red Carpet At This Year's SAG Awards

The looks go as follows...

This weekend's Screen Actors Guild Awards did not disappoint.

From Orange Is The New Black picking up a trophy for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series to Jeffery Tambor's win for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series for Transparent, LGBT representation's on-screen renaissance continues to receive its much-deserved recognition.

Beyond the night's big wins – which included Queen Latifah picking up an award for her performance as bisexual blues singer Bessie Smith in HBO's Bessie – was the inclusion of a plethora of trans actresses/pioneers, including Laverne Cox, Trace Lysette, Hari Nef, Alexandra Billings and Our Lady J.

Laverne Cox absolutely slayed the lewk – and her runway walk – in a crimson Prabal Gurung dress.

Cox later linked up with her friend, Transparent actress Trace Lysette, for the "kiki of life."

"Grateful for moments like this," Lysette wrote in an Instagram post. "To share space with my sister Laverne Cox on such an occasion is a blessing. This woman has such a big heart. Trans gals doing our thing!"

Lysette, stunning a Mark Zunino custom gown, later turned heads introducing proper ballroom vogueing to the Weinstein/Netflix after-party.

Adding an "addenum to the glam," Lysette's Transparent co-star (and recent Gucci runway model), Hari Nef, doled out important wisdom on the red carpet.

Singer/songwriter and Transparent writer Our Lady J turned heads in a Issey Mikaye blouse and skirt with shoes by Jimmy Choo.

"I can't believe we've come so far," she captioned the below photo, on a truly unforgettable night.
