Trevor Donovan May Leave Us Shaken And Stirred In New TV Spy Series

This could be the perfect role.

Blond God Dipped In Molten Gold Trevor Donovan may be back on TV screens soon. Deadline is reporting that Trevor is attached to star in Thomas Caplan’s Ty Hunter series of novels about a military badass-turned-movie star-turned-spy.

"The books follow movie star Ty Hunter, an A-list idol whose past as a covert operative leads to his recruitment by the President of the United States to stop the trafficking of illicit nuclear weapons, re-igniting a clandestine career where Hunter’s fame becomes his cover. The first book, The Spy Who Jumped Off the Screen, was released in 2012 with a forward by former President Clinton. The proposed series would be based on The Man Who Wasn’t, the upcoming second book."

If it happens, this would be Trevor's biggest regular series role since the beloved (and at times befuddled) gay character Teddy Montgomery in 90210. But Teddy was part of an ensemble (and in the background much of the time), so this could be a huge step forward in Trevor's career, allowing him true leading man status.

"A military badass-turned-movie star-turned-spy?" It seems like a perfect fit.
