Trevor Noah Makes His "Daily Show" Debut
"Don't worry, California—they'll find water on you some day."
Trevor Noah made his first appearance as the new host of the Daily Show last night.
The South African comic wasted no time hitting his targets, taking shots at the discovery of water on Mars and the Pope's recent visit to the U.S.
"Oh, that's a tiny car. Somebody's undercompensating. I'm saying the Pope has a huge c**k... and what a waste."
He even poked fun at himself in a segment ostensibly about exiting Speaker John Boehner.
"I can already hear it," he told congressional correspondent Jordan Klepper. "John, please come back! Please come back!"
Below, check out a 60-second recap of Noah's debut episode.
The Daily Show with Trevor Noah airs weekdays at 11pm on Comedy Central
