Trey Songz will sexify you
What’s that? You don’t wear panties? Well, it doesn’t matter. Because “Simply Amazing,” the new hit from Trey Songz, is going to make your panties drop anyway. That’s how romantic is. It’s like Bruno Mars’ “Just The Way You Are,” only with the added sexjuice of Songz’ rich, creamy voice.
I mean… I can’t overstate how similar this song is to Bruno’s chart-topper, but you know what? That song rules, and if you can recreate the formula this well, then why not do it? I’ll never get tired of romantic songs about men treating their women respect (instead of calling them hookers while they pour imported beer on their breasts.)
I’m also a permanent sucker for this kind of drum track, which always sounds so grand with its crashing waves of sound. And Songz has the vocal chops to match that grandeur with big notes and gentle falsetto riffs. It’s all just really pretty, you know? And it puts me in a romantic mood. And if my man came up in my house and played this for me while turning the lights down low, then he would definitely get lucky.
