In Her New Music Video, Trixie Mattel Has Some Advice For Kids Stuck In Small Towns

"I have teenage sisters and this song is a reminder to think big and run fast."

Not only is Trixie Mattel the newly crowned winner of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 3, but she is also slaying the music charts with her latest album, One Stone, which debuted at the top spot on the iTunes album chart and the Billboard Heatseekers chart.

"Break Your Heart," Trixie's first music video from her new album, was a high budget short featuring Trixie dressed up as different characters such as a nosey neighbor and vengeful surgeon.

Her new video, "Little Sister," is a more stripped-down affair with our favorite country queen out of drag and playing the song in the recording studio.

"'Little Sister' is a cautionary tale of being trapped in a small town. I have teenage sisters and this song is a reminder to think big and run fast," Trixie told NewNowNext.

She might not be dressed in the pink plastic fantasy her fans are used to, but the video does feature Trixie in drag as her other One Stone alter-ego which can be seen in the art for the album.

"I get nervous delivering a sincere message, so I added this weird anxious guy to play harp for us and add some stupidity," Trixie said about the character who makes a cameo in the video.

"Something about that Afro and a turtleneck just makes me laugh."

RuPaul's Drag Race Season 10 airs Thursdays at 8/7c on VH1.
