Trixie Mattel On That Shocking Shangela Decision: "I Couldn't Believe It"

"I was cracked."

There were viewing parties at gay bars across the country last night, as fans gathered to watch who would claim their spot in the Drag Race Hall of Fame on the season finale of All Stars Season 3.

The viewing party at Chicago's popular gay bar, Roscoe's Tavern, was special in particular because one of the top four queens—and eventual winner—Trixie Mattel was watching the episode to find out who would be crowned.

In a video posted by Roscoe's, watch Trixie as learns she has won All Stars, at the same time as the rest of the world, and her reaction is epic, to say the least:

After the episode ends the newly crowned queen addresses the crowd to talk about her performance to "Wrecking Ball," saying that she finally won a lip sync on Drag Race, even if it was in flats.

And what about the hair she pulled out of her wig during the performance?

"I cut pieces of another wig so I could pull it out for dramatic effect," she explains. "I didn't have rose petals, I had to make do."

Then Trixie gets candid when she recalls what was going through her head when the eliminated queens announced their pick for the top two girls.

"I thought it was going to be obviously Shangela, and then one of us," said the One Stone singer. "I couldn't believe it. I was cracked."

"When they said my name and I had to figure out they weren't going to say Shangela... I couldn't f*cking believe it."

Knowing Shangela she will be back, back, back again, popping out of a box again before we know it. Halleloo!
