A rock formation in Norway that is famous for its phallic shape was severely damaged last month, and now one person has been charged with vandalism.

Known as Trollpikken, or "troll penis," the popular tourist attraction was found with drilling holes in it a few weeks ago that pointed to someone intentionally vandalizing it.

While the suspect may have been offended by the penis-shaped protrusion, he ultimately has only drawn more attention to it since the attack.

Workers put over 12 tons of heavy rock back onto the site last week after more than $27,000 was raised for the restoration via crowdfunding.
