Troye Sivan doesn't really feel comfortable being called a "gay icon."

The Aussie singer, YouTuber, and Boy Erased star sat down with Vogue for the latest installment of the magazine's 73 Questions digital series. In the video—filmed at Sivan's manager's sprawling Los Angeles home—the 24-year-old opened up about all things queer, including his coming out story, his BF of three years, model Jacob Bixenman, and why he won't embrace his gay icon status.

"I just from experience have seen that the LGBTQ community is so unbelievably diverse and looks like so many people that to kind of be picked as one of the 'faces' of the community—it just made me really uncomfortable," he told Vogue. "It felt scary."

Bixenman and the couple's dog, Nash, both made cameos, too. Turns out, Sivan's celebrity crush is singer-songwriter Shawn Mendes. His boyfriend's heartthrob of choice? One Direction alum Harry Styles.
