“True Blood” Meets “Cheers”: Where Everybody Bangs Your Fang [WATCH]


Of all the shows to reimagine as an ’80s sitcom, True Blood doesn’t immediately come to mind. But eternal fanboy Wil Wheaton and his eponymous ¬†Project couldn’t help but find some similarities between the salacious, clothing-challenged vamp campfest and the classic Cheers: for instance, they both have a bar where everyone knows your name that serves as the center of the community owned by a man named Sam. And they both feature a lot of¬†homoerotic subtext, or maybe you’re forgetting the loaded glances between Sam and Woody. Though Sam and Woody never did this:
