"The journey is not about what you identify as, but who you are," says the unapologetic viral sensation.

Are you ready to experience TS Madison?

The unapologetic transgender “queen of the internet” has been an online viral sensation for years, but now she’s ready to take on Hollywood by being a guest judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race, starring in her own digital series, Lemme Pick You Up, and making a cameo in the upcoming film, Zola. Madison was even impersonated by Silky Nutmeg Ganache on Snatch Game for Drag Race Season 11, that’s how you know you’ve truly made it!

This past year she made television history by being the first Black trans woman to executive produce and star in her own reality series, The TS Madison Experience, on WE TV. “The message that I wanted my show to give to the world was to be proud, be loud… and make people accept you for the human being that you are,” she tells Logo. “The journey is not about what you identify as, but who you are — and be proud in being who you are.”

Not only that, but Madison says she is going to continue expressing her Pride year-round, by making sure that “my trans existence and my trans experience is visible and teachable to people out there in the world who are watching me and are trying to learn from my life experiences.”

I write about drag queens. Dolly Parton once ruffled my hair and said I was "just the cutest thing ever."
