TSA Agent Fired For Groping Male Passengers He Found Cute

A security screener at Denver International Airport has been fired for groping the groins of male passengers he found attractive.

According to police, the unnamed TSA agent would signal to another agent when he saw a man he thought was attractive. The other agent would then falsely indicate the passenger was female, instead of male, causing the scanning machine to record an “anomaly” in the crotch area and necessitating a pat-down.

The two reportedly pulled this scam almost a dozen times.

The TSA first received an employee tip about the ploy in November 2014, but police were not notified until March, after an internal investigation. A TSA investigator caught the agent in action on February 9.

“[The investigator] observed [the agent] conduct a pat down of the passenger’s front groin and buttocks area with the palms of his hands, which is contradictory to TSA searching policy,” the police report said.

Prosecutors in Colorado have declined to prosecute the two employees because, with no groping victims coming forward, there is “no reasonable likelihood of conviction.”
