Davey Wavey’s “Online Dating Rituals,” AMC Considers a Kevin Smith Talk Show and You Know Nothing About Kit Harrinton’s Bare Bottom

AMC has ordered a pilot for a Kevin Smith talk show. The weekly show would adapt Smith’s podcast Hollywood Babble-On for TV which Smith describes as “Entertainment Tonight but filthy.”

Think you’ve seen Kit Harington naked thanks to that Game of Thrones scene in that rock pool? In a GQ profile, Harrington admits that scene featured a butt double. “I had a broken ankle… so the only time you saw my ass, it wasn’t my ass.” Instead a crew member with curly black hair and a great backside was asked to get a haircut to match Harrington and fill in.

Get ready for another Joss Whedon alum to show up on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Amy Acker will appear as a woman with a key role in Agent Coulson’s past, reports TV Guide.

Lisa Vanderpump discussed with The Hollywood Reporter her appearance with her fellow Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in Lady Gaga’s “G.U.Y.” music video, “She’s very Bravo-aware. She’s right in the center of pop culture, and Housewives is very much of the culture.”

NBC has picked up Taxi Brooklyn, a drama based on the Luc Besson film Taxi.

AMC is developing its first comedy in recent years, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The network is adapting the play Random Acts, about two single girls in their 30s who also work as contract killers. Out Emmy-winning director Todd Holland is part of the team, so it has definitely got my attention.

The El Rey network has given an early second season order to its From Dusk Till Dawn TV series.

Vulture looks at the Iowa Writers’ Workshop to understand what’s awaiting Hanah Hovarth after the Girls finale.

Reality TV star with sinking ratings says silly things desperately hoping to get attention. Let’s just keep ignoring his show.

Who says the broadcast channels can’t find new ideas for reality TV? Fox will air I Want to Marry “Harry” (yes, it looks like those quotes are part of the title) where an average Brit is given an “upper crust makeover” and then tries to make 12 single woman think he’s regal. I hear the working title was Joe Millionaire 3: The Secret of Evan Marriott’s Curls.

Fox's "I Want to Marry 'Harry'"I notice Fox isn’t using “lookalike” in their description.

1.1 million viewers caught the debut of Jim Henson’s Creature Shop Challenge, keeping an interest of about 90% of the viewers who tuned in for lead-in Face Off. That’s a pretty promising debut.

The Vampire Diaries (CW) 8:00 PM ET
That was certainly an interesting debut for Luke. Things should continue to be interesting for him as he manages to unsettle Bonnie. Since I skipped a season’s worth of episodes, is she still pretty unflappable?

Inside the Actors Studio (Bravo) 8:00 PM ET
With the series finale only a few days away, the cast of How I Met Your Mother get together to discuss the series.

Suits (USA) 9:00 PM ET
When one of the lawyers has a heart attack in court, the firm has to scramble to make sure clients don’t find they’re down one key team member. Then they have to find time to act like human beings and visit their colleague and wish him well.

Project Runway: Under the Gunn (Lifetime) 9:00 PM ET
I’m still waving my fists in the air over this season’s Michael Costello-slash-Diana Eng hybrid getting eliminated (oh, Mondo, I expected better) but since the competition goes on, this is the week they have to satisfy clients who have special fashion needs.

Surviving Jack (Fox) 9:30 PM ET
Remember the hilarity that was CBS’ $#*! My Dad Says? Fox has decided TV needs another show based on a book by the guy who came up with that Twitter feed. This one does star Christopher Meloni as a dad in the 1990s taking over the household duties when his wife starts law school.

Sirens (USA) 10:00 PM ET
Johnny and Theresa try out adding a benefits package to their friendship, much to the entertainment of Hank, who thinks Johnny is way too sensitive to have meaningless sex with the same person. Unfortunately, this episode won’t be followed by a discussion segment where Dan Savage explains how the whole Friends with Benefits” thing is an example of straight people adopting aspects of gay culture.

Scandal (ABC) 10:00 PM ET
Meet the poor children who have to live with Mellie and Fitz as parents (or, in one case, Fitz might be a half-brother). Then again, since it’s taken so long for them to show up onscreen, maybe they’ve been blissfully ignored by their parents’ stormy relationship.

Online Dating Rituals of the American Male (Bravo) 10:00 PM ET
Bravo’s new reality series about how men seek love (or just a hookup) online gets gay this week as it follows YouTube personality Davey Wavy. As a guy who has moved from a small Rhode Island town to Los Angeles, the dating scene looks like a huge buffet with plenty of choices — and he’s still filling his plate with different dishes trying to figure out what he likes. For contrast, the episode also follows a 36-year-old Christian conservative virgin who is saving himself for marriage.

Fresh from giving Democrats (the smart ones anyway, I hope no one important is “unskewing” Silver’s recent analysis) a panic attack, nerdilicious statistician Nate Silver will be chatting with Jon.
