It's finally official, the upcoming season of Downton Abbey will be the final season. However, the legacy of the Granthams may continue with a movie or spin-off series.

HBO has extended its deal with Vice for an additional four years. In addition Vice's news magazine, the new deal will have Vice make a daily half-hour news broadcast for the premium channel. First Last Week Tonight, then Jinx now this. It really sounds like HBO is focused on having an actual influence on current events.

Who thought the world needed a new Coach series? Then again, if they get Shelley Farbares to return, I'll consider enduring Craig T. Nelson.

Justin Kirk has joined the cast of the comedy pilot Sarah Silverman is making for HBO. The series has Silverman playing an abrasive video game designer with Kirk playing her boss.

John Slattery could have been on Empire. At least, he says that Empire co-creator Danny Strong (who had a role on Mad Men) asked he'd be interested in appearing on the show. "I think I let that ship sail. I don't know who I would've played ...some white dude." Wrong, he'd probably play some white dude who gets told off by Lucius or Cookie. That would have been so worth it.

The first Supergirl villain will be Vartox, played by Owain Yeoman. In this version Vartox is an alien with Superman-like powers who has been hiding on earth for the past several years.

The wesen of the week involves a one night stand turned deadly due to a "bizarre love triangle" (if it involves a wesen that's a bug or a rabbit I'll be squeeing in delight). Meanwhile, Adalind debates what to do with her big news while Juliette turns to Renard as Nick struggles to handle her new nature.

Cole tries to follow Ramse back to 1987 Tokyo, but Ramse is about to find out he's got a role to fulfill in this drama. With the season finale in a few weeks, this are getting really crazy at this point.
