This week's Vampire Diaries was supposed to have a shirtless scene for Stefan, played by Paul Wesley who also directed the episode. In an interview with EW, Wesley says he got that scene cut. "Stefan wakes up and then he has to walk around the house and I’m like, 'Does he wake up shirtless and then you want me to do like nine scenes shirtless, walking around the house? This is ridiculous. He wakes up, I need to put a shirt on.' That was my pitch. Because that’s what I would do... It’s like the Playgirl mansion or something."

And to that we say, "Dude, take your damn shirt off. -- We don't care what 'you'd do.' If we wanted something true to life we wouldn't be watching a teenage vampire show."

Well, this can't be good news.

Fox has ordered a quartet of pilots including an adaptation of Luther (though that's dependent on finding someone with the gravitas to take on a role originated by Idris Elba), a drama called Frankenstien that's not described as a retelling of Mary Shelly's classic story but about a crooked cop who comes back to life and a comedy from the creator of Guys with Kids.

This week's Jane the Virgin had a pretty remarkable moment that took a stance on immigration reform. It came out of one of Jane's ridiculously soapy moments, took a serious turn and gracefully reverted to the soapiness. Showrunner Jennie Urman, discussed the story with Buzzfeed. "The hope is by personalizing this issue, and playing it out through beloved characters, we can make the political, personal... and hopefully raise consciousness, and compassion."

Justin Bieber will be the guest-of-honor at the next Comedy Central roast. They're going to have to work really hard to avoid making all the obvious jokes that were already made and repeated a few thousand times on the internet.

Tony winner Nina Arianda will appear in the upcoming season of Hannibal, according to TVLine. She'll appear in a reoccurring role as Will's future wife. Arianda worked with Hugh Dancy in a Broadway production of Venus in Fur.
