TV on Tap: A "Lego Star Wars" Mini-Series, "S.H.I.E.L.D." Returns And Who Says Goodbye On "Arrow"?

News

Last week, Disney XD got us excited with the promise of a new Duck Tales, now the channel is planning to air a five-episode Lego Star Wars miniseries that will retell the Star Wars story from the perspective of C-3P0 and R2-D2.

BBC America released the first image of Ben Whishaw in the upcoming BBC America mini-series London Spy. Wishaw plays a man who man who ends up drawn into the world of espionage after his enigmatic boyfriend suddenly dies. I'm still getting over how dreamy Whishaw was in Cloud Atlas so I can't wait for this.

After airing online last year, Pop will broadcast the Daytime Emmy Award Ceremony.

io9 wonders why Lost in Space doesn't get the respect its contemporaries Batman and Star Trek are receiving on their 50th anniversaries. Sure, Lost in Space was goofy, but we've learned to love Batman's goofiness in the fifty years since its debut. Maybe the problem is that the concept is much harder to reboot without the goofy charm?

There was a easily-missed cameo in the premiere of The Last Man on Earth and that person might show up again in the future.

Speaking of The Last Man on Earth the new comedy had a big debut, managing to be the night's top show on the broadcast networks. Meanwhile, CBS' Battle Creek did okay but not great. Still, with a weaker lead-in and a more modest marketing campaign, that might not be terrible news.

However, this season S.H.I.E.L.D. has the responsibility of introducing the cinematic version of The Inhumans. Last we saw the team, Skye and Raina were exposed to the Terrigen Mist, the kind of cliffhanger that has Marvel Comics readers quaking with excitement. Now, what happens to them after terrigenesis?
