Lisa Kudrow Joins “Scandal” and Great “American Horror Story” Casting News

OMG. OMG. OMG. Deadline reports that Lisa Kudrow will be appearing in a recurring role on the upcoming season of Scandal. Producers aren’t saying what her role will be, but if she doesn’t get to share plenty of scenes with (Kudrow’s frequent creative partner) Dan Bucatinsky, I will be very disappointed.

It’s been too long since the great Leslie Jordan has been on my TV. That’s about to end as he will be a part of the upcoming season of American Horror Story.

Michiel Huisman, previously seen on Nashville and Treme is joining the cast of Game of Thrones. Much like the Scandal news, there’s no information about Huisman’s character.

Michiel HuismanLooking at a Google Images search for Michiel Huisman, he’s happily not shy about on screen nudity.

In what just might be the creepiest moment of Big Brother getting caught altering reality, the CBS reality show erased someone out of a scene. Maybe a show that took its name from 1984 shouldn’t remind us of other Orwellian concepts.

Will the legacy of Breaking Bad be the “Hank and Marie watching…” meme? Here’s the original version, but there are videos where Hank and Marie Schrader react in horror to Game of Thrones’ “Red Wedding” among other scenes.

FX is developing a drama starring Paul Giamatti based on Charles Willeford’s Hoke Mosely novels. In theory, that sounds like a great companion for Justified.

TVLine reports that Oscar Nunez is joining the Chris Meloni comedy pilot Surviving Jack. Nunez will play the annoying next door neighbor of Meloni’s character who can’t really be avoided because he’s the principal of the school Meloni’s children attend.

Olympic swimmer and Suits fan Michael Phelps will appear as himself next season as the client Harvey has never been able to land.

TV Guide reports the great news that Amy Sedaris is making a return appearance on Raising Hope. Additionally, character actress Mindy Sterling will appear as a “quirky prosecutor”, reuniting Sterling with Garret Dillahunt, who both appeared in the movie Any Day Now.

Australian actor Rick Cosnett will appear on the upcoming season of The Vampire Diaries as the latest educator with secrets.

The season finale of Pretty Little Liars saw its audience increase by a million viewers from the episode that preceded it.

Project Runway (Lifetime) 9:00 PM ET
Usually, Tim Gunn advises the designers to think carefully about the shoes they’ll have their models wear, carefully finding the right shoe to highlight their outfit’s best qualities. This week, they’re expected to take inspiration from a great shoe for their outfit.

Hollywood Game Night (NBC) 10:00 PM ET
NBC’s summer game show hasn’t been important television, but it’s been incredibly fun. Thus, I’m more than a little sad to say goodbye to it tonight as David Giuntoli, Hoda Kotb, Emilie de Ravin, Tom Arnold, Jerry Ferarra and Terry Crews show up.

Wilfred (FX) 10:00 PM ET
Wilfred and Ryan take up crime fighting, and apparently Ryan panics at the sight of Wilfred in a hoodie.

Childrens Hospital (Adult Swim) Midnight ET
Lola’s skill at celebrity impressions gets her recruited for a secret government mission after training with Jordan Peele. That’s the kind of plot that will likely have me confused if our President is really the President or just Peele on a black ops mimic mission.

NTSF: SD: SUV:: (Adult Swim) 12:15 AM ET
Meed the new Time Angels, now played by Jayma Mays, Santigold and Eliza Dushku as they head back to the Wild West to make sure things go smoothly for the Intercontinental railroad. This show better combine its ridiculous time-traveling agents with the new cast member who played Amy Pond.

What will you be watching tonight? Please share in the comments!
