Ridiculous Anti-Gay Tweet Spawns #WhenIMarryMyself Meme

In a tweet, the anti-equality groupd stated that "when #marriage is redefine, what prevents a person from "marrying" his/herself?"  (The tweet linked to a story about a woman who, inspired by Bjork's song "Isobel," "married" herself.")

Within minutes, #WhenIMarryMyself started burning up the Twitterverse, and by evening it was a trending topic on the social-media platform. Here are some examples:
