Fandom has been quote vocal since it was announced Tyler Hoechlin would be soaring onto Supergirl as Kara's famous crimefighting cousin, Superman.

Images of the former Teen Wolf star in his supersuit, designed by Supergirl costume designer Kiersten Ronning, have surfaced and everyone's got an opinion.

While some complain the cape isn't traditional, or there's too much piping on the costume, we like the approach overall. Especially the super-glutes.

Though whether that's all Tyler or the costume, we're not sure.

Superman appear in Supergirl's first two episodes this fall, when the show hops over to the CW.

He'll arrive in National City as Clark Kent before butting heads with Kara (Melissa Benoist) about what it means to be a super-powered Kryptonian on Earth.
