The Amazing Race has gone digital by casting 11 teams of recognizable YouTube, Vine, and Instagram stars, including gay vloggers Tyler Oakley and Korey Kuhl, for their 28th season.
Oakley broke the news to his 4.75 million Twitter followers, posting, “today i leave to compete on @AmazingRace_CBS with my bestie @koreykuhl!! if you spot us in your country, say hey!”
Here’s a list of the other social media stars that will be racing around the world for a chance to win $1 million: YouTube gamer Burnie Burns and his girlfriend Ashley Jenkins, Clevver YouTube hosts Erin White Robinson and Joslyn Davis, “Teen heartthrob Viner” Cole LaBrant and his mom Sheri, YouTube dancers Matt Steffanina and Dana Borriello, Vine star Zach King and his wife Rachel, Instagram models Jessica Versteeg and Brittany Oldehoff, viral video star Marty Cobb and daughter Hagan Parkman, beauty and lifestyle vlogger Blair Fowler and her father Scott, pro frisbee YouTubers Brodie Smith and Kurt Gibson, and Vine stars and brothers Cameron and Darius Benson.
As for Oakley and Kuhl, they currently host the award-winning podcast Psychobabble, in addition to being massive stars on YouTube.
