Tyra Banks Signs On To "Life-Size 2"; We Demand Lindsay Lohan Follow Suit

“There is no one else that can play Eve but me."

Her time with Top Model might be coming to a close tonight (RIP), but Tyra Banks will be keeping up appearances – emphasis on the smize – when she revives her iconic role of Eve, a life-size plastic doll come to life in a long-rumored sequel to 2000's TV movie Life Size.

“There is no one else that can play Eve but me, thank you very much!” Banks tells Variety. “I’m just joking with you, but yes, I am going to be Eve.”

Not only did the original film give us this relatable GIF...

It brought together two of the most important women in popular culture: Tyra Banks and Lindsay Lohan. So will the sequel do the same? Tragically, it's looking not so.

“We have not talked about casting at all so I have no idea who is going to be the young person that will be the owner of Eve," says Banks. "We haven’t gotten to that.”

There's nothing to get to beside calling up La Lohan and getting her to sign on the dotted line.

Obvious shade aside, we all know Lohan could use a check to cut and besides that, just think of a grown-up LiLo and TyTy strutting heel-to-heel.

We'll remain hopeful.

As for when we can expect Eve's reincarnation?

“I think it will be 2016,” Banks says. “We’re looking at it as a holiday movie so hopefully holiday 2016. One thing is it’s a very precious project to the Disney Channel so they’ve been doing a lot of re-writes and making sure that this script is really right. I’m really excited about it. I think Life-Size is so popular that it can be a feature film because it has such a cult following, so I’m really interested to see what the ratings are going to do for that. I think it’s going to be a blockbuster on TV.”

So do we, Tyra. So. Do. We.
