Tyra Banks Sues Wigmakers Over Stolen Name

Benevolent fashion fascist Tyra Banks, whose newest season (excuse me, cycle) of Top Model is our favorite series to hate-watch, is suing 10 wig companies over the unauthorized use of her name in their lines of surely-incredibly-high-quality-and-not-cheaply-made-at-all hairpieces.

According to TMZ: several of these companies have used Tyra's name, picture, and identity to market their own products without paying any lip-service to the Queen of Smizes.  Tyra is not amused.  So she's suing for upwards of 10 mil and for an injunction to stop sale of the infringing products.

In proper Tyra Banks narcissistically self-indulgent fashion, the law suit apparently included all 11 pages of her IMDB profile to prove the value of her all-powerful brand.  Which, to me, seems a bit like overkill, because simply hearing her name strikes fear into my already blackened heart.

Some of the wigs cost around $300, meaning you'd have to pay a hefty price to look like Our Lady of Tooching.  However, if you've seen Tyra's hair in any episode of this season cycle of Top Model, you have most likely already come to the conclusion that there are probably better celebrity hairdos to emulate.
