As U.S Women's Soccer Team Wins World Cup, Abby Wambach Rushes To Kiss Wife
Last night the U.S. Women's National Soccer Team defeated Japan 5-2 to win the World Cup.
And the first things star forward Abby Wambach did was race to the stands to give her wife a big kiss.
Wambach is considered one of the best player's ever in women's soccer—she and wife Sarah Huffman, a former player herself, were wed in Hawaii in 2013.
Many fans shared the momentous victory and smooch on social media with the hashtag #LoveWins.
The 35-year-old Wambach has said this would most likely be her last World Cup—so going out on top, with her love by her side, is all the more sweet.
The two-time Olympic Gold medalist and 2012 FIFA World Player of the Year has scored more international goals than any other person, male or female—183.
