Hope you're wearing some cute underwear because you're about to get Undressed—again. Undressed is the latest franchise to get rebooted at MTV Studios, including the recently announced Real World revival and the upcoming re-imagining of the classic high school animated series, Daria.

The sexually-charged soap ran on MTV from 1999-2002, airing more than 200 episodes, and was celebrated for featuring gay, lesbian, and bisexual characters—even winning a 2003 GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Daily Drama. Now the series is set to return for a new batch of episodes as MTV announced it is bringing back the after-dark series for a new generation of horny teenagers. Roland Joffé, who created and executive produced Undressed is also set to return and executive produce the reboot.

"Undressed was ahead of its time and we’re looking forward to developing the series for a whole new generation," said Pamela Post, Head of Scripted Programming for MTV Studios, MTV, VH1 and Logo. "Much has changed in the dating/relationship world since the series first premiered and we’re excited to showcase how both have evolved."

The low-budget series was groundbreaking for its take on sexuality, but it was also notable for launching the careers of future TV stars like Christina Hendricks, Max Greenfield, Brandon Routh, and Chad Michael Murray.

No premiere date for the new Undressed has been announced.
