Trixie and Katya are celebrating a big anniversary.

Five years ago today — March 25, 2016 — Trixie Mattel and Katya gave birth to the first episode of UNHhhh, the digital series where the drag duo talk about whatever they want because it’s their show, and not yours.

Now the RuPaul’s Drag Race legends have announced that a sixth season of UNHhhh will premiere Wednesday, April 21st on World of Wonder’s streaming service, WOW Presents Plus. The season will consist of 30 episodes, and if that wasn’t enough, the sickening series has been renewed for an additional two 30-episode seasons. So we hope that wig glue is set because we have 90 installments of UNHhhh to look forward to. 9-0!

“CAUTION: Flammable. The show that got you through quarantine is back to get you through life,” said Trixie when the new seasons were announced. “Two young models coming into their own(sez), defining minds of a generation.”

With 143 episodes, UNHhhh has amassed a staggering 500 million views on YouTube alone, and the series won Best Unscripted Series at the 2020 Streamy Awards. Uncensored episodes of UNHhhh will premiere on WOW Presents Plus, and then the censored versions will hit YouTube a month later.

“Thelma & Louise, Laverne & Shirley, Patsy & Edina, Siegfried & Roy… the list of women’s names could go on and on, forever,” said Katya. “Even the most ambitious scholar wouldn’t dare try and memorize them all. Luckily, there’s no need, because Trixie and Katya, two of the easiest-to-remember names that belong to a couple of the hardest-to-forget women, are making a much-anticipated return to their award-winning, non-word titled web series UNHhhh This unprecedented sixth season is bound to be the series’ most compelling yet, as the girls tackle tough issues, wrestle more demons, and expose all of the hidden truths lurking beneath the flaky crust of that rare and delicious French pastry we call Life.”

And hopefully some more Contact jokes?

I write about drag queens. Dolly Parton once ruffled my hair and said I was "just the cutest thing ever."
