Union J Announce They’re Coming Back With New Music

Out member Jaymi Hensley will be on board, though George Shelley won't.

The boys of Union J are readying for a comeback as they prepare to release new music for the first time since losing one of their original members last year.

Josh Cuthbert, JJ Hamblett, Jaymi Hensley and newest member, Casey Johnson, revealed that they’re currently working with their management to release a new single very soon, and teased that it will make fans “dance their arses off.”

Johnson replaced former member George Shelley, who parted ways with the band last year just a few weeks after coming out as bisexual.

Meanwhile, Hensley is known for being one of the rare gay members of a boy band who has actually been open about his sexuality from the start, as opposed to coming out of the closet later in life. He was openly gay since the quartet was first formed on the UK version of X Factor in 2012.

The boys’ upcoming album will be their first since 2014’s You Got It All.
