It's been years since we last saw our favorite blonde detective, Veronica Mars played by the aggressively adorable Kristen Bell on the air. To all of you superfans, you feel the pain. The series was cancelled after its third season was already in the can, never allowing creator Rob Thomas to give the show the proper ending. But now all of that is about to change...

Veronica Mars the movie was in talks years ago, but now there is a real shot to make this film finally happen. The Veronica Mars Movie Project launched a kickstarter page today and if it reaches $2 mil, all of our Veronica movie dreams will come true. Anyone who contributes $10 or more will get some cool prizes, like a copy of the shooting script, a t-shirt and even a chance to name a character in the movie -- because we all want to come up with names more wacky than Piz, Weevil and Dick.

Kristen Bell is totally on board with this as are her former co-stars Jason Dohring, Ryan Hansen and Enrico Colantoni which makes the kickstarter all the more awesome. Watch below and remember you only have 30 days left to donate. Let's make it happen.
