Video Premiere: Watch Katy Perry's New "E.T." Video feat. Kanye West! Plus, Katy Says "Heyyy!"

Hang on, Earth Girlz! Katy Perry‘s intergalactically fierce new video for “E.T.” is premiering right up here on NewNowNext… NOW! (It’s also all over MTV.com and VH1.com, and will hit TV tonight on MTV at 7:53pm ET and on Logo’s NewNowNext PopLab tonight at 1am ET on Logo!)

And it’s a trip! Katy spent hours and hours in costume and makeup for the video shoot (and her fans got into it too), and the results are her most trippy and fantastically visual video ever! It’s kind of Avatar meets Wall-E meets the Discovery Channel at a fierce voguing ball in space. And Kayne West is in shiny hotpants floating around, rapping and just generally throwing shade. Love!

A few looks from “E.T.”, but these don’t EVEN really hint at the full-on, cinematic, epic effect of the video… Just watch it!!!

Below… Miss Katy talks to MTV News’ Sway about the intense makeup prep; Sway is all like “as a man, I can’t understand spending 6 hours in makeup…” Um, really? Clearly, we don’t know the same men.

I like the part where at the end where she saunters off into the sunset on her little hoof-feet with that nice, ribbed albino gay-boy! Hurrah diversity!!! Nice job, KP!
