RuPaul's CD Glamazon is out, children. Alongside your new Gaga and forthcoming Beyonce CDs, it's sort of the triple crown of summertime music queenery. I mean, would there even be a Beyonce or Gaga if there had been no Ru? No "Supermodel"? No Starrrbooty? Clearly, Ru laid down the stiletto-heeled footwork for today's divalicious sisters...
And last Wednesday, the (Drag) Queen of all Media hit up Best Buy in Union Square, NYC so fans could line up, mop a copy of her new disc and get some Sharpie realness scratched on it for posterity.
Our gay-about-town-with a microphone and a spit-curl, Keith Edwards, hit up the big event, and gabbed with Mizz Ru about the Glamazon-ian festivities, and what's she's learned from her time in showbiz (Courage! Strength! Beauty!). And he also met some fans who shared a few life lessons they've gleaned from the Supermodel of the World.
