Video: Singer Sir Ari Gold Won't Sit in the Back of the Bus, But He Will "Sparkle!" Watch!

Sir Ari Gold: Rides the bus, holds hands, fights for equal rights... And SPARKLES!

Singer Ari Gold (aka Sir Ari) is all-about channeling his inner diva when it's required. First, his latest video for his single "Sparkle" features guest vocals from LaBelle veteran and R&B legend Sarah Dash, and Gold holds his own with her in this groovin' jam. The tune even namechecks fellow divas Mariah, Diana, Aretha, Gaga and Madonna, as Gold sings "when you're down / bring your inner diva around." Faboooo!

And over the last day or so, it's been reported that Gold summoned his inner diva and his rights as an equal citizen when a driver on a Shortline bus allegedly asked Gold and his boyfriend to move to the back of the vehicle because their hand-holding on the bus upset him. NY State Troopers were even called in. The Village Voice's Michael Musto broke the story, and the President of the bus company chimed in to apologize, but there may be more to this yet!

Well done, Ari! Channel Miss Rosa Parks, please! And my favorite bit of this story: As The Advocate reported, Gold said that "he and his boyfriend 'were both listening to Whitney Houston on an iPod double jack and loving her love songs,' and holding hands, when the driver pulled over to tell us to 'stop sitting in the front.'" Awwww, Whitney gets 'em every time!

Anyway... Watch Gold serve up some outer diva-ness in the video for his latest single "Sparkle" below.
