Village People Contemplate A Move In New Real Estate Ad

Y-O-P-A

The Village People are back in a series of new advertisements for the UK-based real estate agency YOPA.

Although the disco act, which was originally designed to appeal to gay men, has featured rotating members throughout the past few decades, two of the original members appear in the new commercials.

Felipe Rose, who originated the Indian role, and Alex Briley, who plays the soldier, appear alongside newer members of the group in the series of ads that finds them "needing a helping hand to move on."

"Aside from the comedy that the situation presents, it’s a message that fundamentally rings true: so many of us delay moving home because the process is so stressful, not to mention hugely expensive," said YOPA CEO and co-founder Daniel Attia. "Between that and the connection between Y-O-P-A and Y-M-C-A, we were sold on this idea from day one."
