Time’s up! Yep, the voting period for the 2010 NewNowNext Awards has wrapped. It’s over… Now it’s time for our crack team of math geeks and accounting queens to tally up the votes! Thanks for voting… And hold your breath until June 17th when all will be revealed on the wild, celeb-packed 2010 NewNowNext Awards jamboree celebrating emerging talent and what’s about to bust-out in pop culture!

This year, Niecy Nash and Cheyenne Jackson will host the show, with appearances and performances coming from the likes of Lady Gaga, Little Boots, Dan Black, Johnny Weir, Kelly Osbourne, Shontelle, Dan Black, Agnes, Janice Dickinson, RuPaul, just about all the queens from RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 2 and tons more fab folks. And the legendary Paula Abdul will be there to accept the completely major “Always Next, Forever Now” Icon Award, so expect the deliriously unexpected!

As you may remember, our 2008 debut show boasted the first-ever TV performance of the now-legendary Lady Gaga, and Leona Lewis and Janet Jackson nabbed Nexties. Last year RuPaul hosted, True Blood was honored as THE show to watch, Britney Spears thanked the gays (where have we heard that before?), Wendy Williams was crowned a “guilty pleasure” before her show even aired, and guests like Vanessa Williams and Real Housewives Bethenny Frankel & Jill Zarin wreaked havoc and actually hung out together nicely onstage!

So… Get ready to celebrate the next big things in 2010! Who’s the next big music artist? The next hot actor? The best TV show sizzling just beneath the radar? And who deserves some NewNowNext love just ’cause theyr’e hot?
