Walmart Fires Employee Who Said Orlando Shooter Was "Doing Community Service"

The corporation said they don't "tolerate this kind of behavior."

Walmart has reportedly fired a Georgia employee who posted an offensive tweet calling the horrific attack at Pulse nightclub in Orlando an act of "community service."

The man, identified only as his Twitter handle IWillTryLater, shared the tweet on Sunday afternoon after the tragic news broke that morning. It read: "Y’all see a Gay club shooting as a horrible tragedy. I see it as someone doing Community Service."

Twitter user Tacky_Nerd quickly took a screenshot of the message and tweeted it out to Walmart calling for them to take immediate disciplinary action against IWillTryLater.

The mega-corporation responded, saying that Walmart doesn't "tolerate this kind of behavior" and that the man, who worked for the chain in Cobb County, "no longer works at Walmart."

Walmart has provided no further information about the employee. His twitter page, which was deleted following the controversy, has resurfaced as a "memorial against hatred spread on social media."
