Watch First Look of Lena Waithe, Halle Berry's “Boomerang” BET Comedy
No word if Grace Jones will be reprising her as Helen Strangé.
Marcus darling, a behind-the-scenes preview is out for the new BET comedy series Boomerang, co-produced by Lena Waithe and Halle Berry.
Based on the film of the same name, the series picks up 25 years after the 1992 film which starred Berry and Eddie Murphy. The series follows the lives of Jacqueline Boyer’s (played by Robin Givens in '92) son and Marcus and Angela Graham’s (played by Murphy and Berry) daughter as they try to step out of their parents’ shadows and make a legacy of their own.
The 10-episode half-hour show premieres February 12 on BET. Tequan Richmond, Tetona Jackson, Leland Martin, and Lala Milan star.
