Street justice was swift and unforgiving at the Dallas/Fort Worth airport this week, where a legit cowboy turned into an instant human-rights champion and tackled an antigay attacker,  putting his foul mouth where it belonged — on the dirty airport floor.

The video below was taken at DFW Thursday, when an apparently intoxicated homophobe began heckling a gay man at a customer service counter. It's unclear why the two were exchanging words to begin with, but as you can see, homeboy in the white tee is not too happy about being filmed.

That's when full-blown cowboy steps in and asks what the problem is. "Queers!" the man shouts. "That's what I'm upset about! This faggot right here!"

After a pathetic attempt to start a kick-fight with the "queer," the drunk man is promptly shut down by the cowboy and several other bystanders. The cowboy takes control of the citizen's arrest, saying "No way, motherfucker! You ain't doing that fucking shit, motherfucker!"

When asked by police why he thought he could attack someone at the airport, the man says "because this is America!"

A bittersweet response, seeing how his ass was just handed to him by one of the country's most patriotic figures.
