Watch Katy Perry's Super Bowl XLIX Halftime Show

It's hard to follow up Madonna and Beyonce, but Katy Perry brought some "Fireworks" to her Super Bowl XLIX Halftime Show tonight, with some help from music veterans Lenny Kravitz and Missy Elliott.

Inside the University of Phoenix Stadium field in Glendale, Arizona,  Perry wore a kaleidoscope of Jeremy Scott creations, from a 50s pinup girl (for "Teenage Dream") to a flame-covered goddess astride a giant moving tiger (for "Roar").

Kravitz and Perry dueted on "I Kissed a Girl"—we're not sure what the symbolism is there—and Missy popped up to a medley of her own hits, "Get Ur Freak On," "Work It"and "Lose Control."

If you couldn't guess, the whole set culminated in a pyrotechnic orgasm as the pop superstar  sang her ode to self-empowerment, "Firework," and the crowd lost its damn mind.

We suppose after that the guys went back to playing their little game. Honestly, why bother?
