Lady Gaga was moved to tears at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival after receiving an overwhelming amount of praise for her acting chops in the highly-anticipated “A Star Is Born.”

Sharing the stage with the film’s director and co-star Bradley Cooper as well as other cast members during at Q&A panel at the festival on Sunday (September 9), Mother Monster fought to hold back tears as Lukas Nelson—son of Willie Nelson and soundtrack contributor—told her: “You just destroyed every single scene you were in.”

In A Star Is Born, is in theaters Oct. 5, Gaga plays Ally, a struggling artist who has given up on her dream of becoming a singer until seasoned musician Jackson Maine (Cooper) convinces her to try again.
