In this hysterical queer holiday comedy, Brooklyn lesbian Lauren (writer/director Jenna Lorenzo) decides that Thanksgiving would be the perfect opportunity to come out to the family by bringing her girlfriend, Hailey (Caitlin Mehner), home to New Jersey. Postcards From London

Harris Dickinson, of last year’s Beach Rats, stars in this stylized queer feature about a handsome young Brit, Jim, who finds work as an elite gay escort in London and becomes literally immersed in art due to a condition called Stendahl Syndrome. (November 9, Strand)

El Angel

Looking like Leo DiCaprio with bee-stung lips and curly locks, Argentinian teenage serial killer Carlitos Puch, aka “The Angel of Death,” gets the fictionalized biopic treatment from queer cinema icon/producer, Pedro Almodovar, and director Luis Ortega. In the colorful drama, Carlitos (Lorenzo Ferro) become enamored with a bad boy, Ramon (Chino Darin), and so begins a bloody crime spree. (November 9, The Orchard)

Chef Flynn

Teenage chef Flynn McGarry got a New York Times Magazine cover story at age 16, and gay director Cameron Yates’ delicious documentary works with incredible footage, much shot by McGarry’s helicopter mom, from his childhood obsession with food to start as a culinary prodigy.
