During her "The Butterfly Returns" concert in Los Angeles on Sunday, Carey stopped her performance midway and invited one of her backup dancers onstage. Although the dancer knew his partner was there watching the show, he had no idea he worked with Mimi to coordinate a proposal in front of the huge crowd.

The "Hero" singer shared the moment on Twitter, writing: "he said yes!!!"
