The Las Vegas Strip has been home to gay icons like Cher, JLo and Britney Spears. Now there's a new queen on the scene: Drag Race favorite Shangela has just announced a new residency at the Paris's Chateau nightclub.

Starting Friday, March 11, Shangela (a.k.a. D.J. Pierce) will host and perform in 53X, a sexy new show created by the producers of the Chippendales.

"This is a dream come true," said Shangela. "I can’t believe that I now have this amazing opportunity to entertain fans from around the world on the Vegas strip — and at the same time as diva legends like Britney Spears and JLo?!? Pinch me now!"

Shangy will bring her trademark sass and humor to the event, which also includes scantily clad male and female dancers in a variety of routines.

"We are so excited to have Shangela join us in bringing this innovative new concept to Las Vegas,” says Chippendales partner Kevin Denberg, who calls 53X an "adult adventure.

"[It] takes the infectious energy of the Chippendales show and re-imagines it for men, women, and couples to enjoy together."

"This is the perfect show to bring a date—or find one," teases artistic director Bryan Cheatham, who revamped the Chippendales show at the Rio. "You can be a voyeur or a participant... everyone gets exactly what they came for."
