Watch: Patrick Adams Discusses "Suits." No, Not the Kind You Wear. The TV Show.

We failed you, faithful AfterElton.com readers. It's our job to have our fingers on the pulse of pop culture and to let you know when there is a TV show that you absolutely should be watching. It turns out there is a show that has been airing all summer that is actually quite good, and while it doesn't have any GLBT content (so far anyway), it does feature two very handsome leads who are definitely engaged in a bromance.

Well, more like a September/May bromance or a Daddy/Twink bromance to be exact. Either way, it's pretty hot and you should be watching.

The show is USA's Suits and the bromance is taking place between Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) and Mike Ross (Patrick Adams). Specter is a high flying, hard charging Manhattan attorney, while Ross is a brilliant but unmotivated slacker. At least he is until Specter takes him under his wing and teaches him everything he knows ... about the law.

The show is pretty typical USA fare: two heroes who are very easy on the eyes, and while they aren't saints, they aren't like characters on, say, AMC, the network that specializes in amoral bastards (Walt White on Breaking Bad) or people so damaged not even all of the power of Oprah could help them (Detective Sarah Linden on The Killing). USA characters are just bad enough to be interesting, but you know in the end, they'll always do what's right.

Part of the reason Suits works so well because while Specter is clearly older and dominant,

Ross is no doormat, even though he clearly wants to please his mentor.

The two leads have actual chemistry together and even though both have

appealing female love interests, they spend most of their time together.

What's also fun and interesting about Suits is that like with White Collar's

Peter and Neal, the two leads have a sizable age difference between

them, giving their bromance a pretty different feel from ones we've seen

on shows like Scrubs, Franklin & Bash and Gossip Girls, or in movies such as I Love You Man, Superbad, and Lord of the Rings, or in real life with Matt Damon and Ben Affleck.

Obviously inter-generational bromances have been around for quite some time (see Boston Legal or House), but with Suits (and White Collar), USA seems to be taking it a new level in that the Daddy/Twink aspect is more pronounced. I mean look at the promotional picture at the very top of this post and tell me there isn't a Daddy/Twink thing going on here.

Or maybe it is all in our minds! Either way, Suits is a show you should be watching, and for not alerting you sooner, we apologize. To help make up for that, here is an interview we did on the red carpet at the NBC party with Patrick Adams. He's pretty adorable. Plus, we've got a whole slug of pictures from the show. Enjoy!

Suits isn't all about the man candy, of course. Gina Torres of Firefly and Alias is quite the babe herself. On Suits she plays Jessica Pearson and she owns the firm Specter and Ross work at. Frankly, the show needs to give her more to do.

And every good show needs a foil for the heroes. In this case that would be the usually hapless Louis played by Rick Hoffman. He's a bit over the top for my taste, but Hoffman mostly makes him work.

Of course, Ross needs a love interest lest anything think there is actually something brewing between him and Specter. On Suits the lovely Meghan Markle plays Rachel. If Ross has to be straight, I approve of his dating her.
