Watch "Vampire Diaries" Hunks Ian Somerhalder And Chris Wood Re-Create Show's Iconic Wet 'N' Wild Kiss
Their skin may be cold as ice, but Ian Somerhalder and Chris Wood of The Vampire Diaries brought the heat to San Diego Comic-Con this weekend.
Somerhalder, a.k.a. beautiful bloodsucker Damon Salvatore, and Wood, who played malevolent crossbreed Malachai "Kai" Alexander this season, re-created one of the show's steamiest romantic moments—a rain-soaked kiss originally shared by Damon and Elena (Nina Dobrev).
The boys' passionate lip lock was a surprise easter egg at the end of a VD sizzle reel.
"Promise me this is forever," Kai shouts as the supernatural studs stare into each other's eyes. "I promise," Damon whispers, before going in for another helping.
It's played for laughs, sure, but these two have undeniable chemistry. Damon decapitated Kai last season, but maybe he should bring him back to life?
