Taylor Lautner says that one thing he won’t miss about making the Twilight movies is taking off his shirt, Taylor Lautnerwhich seems a pity, since it’s his top talent. “One, when we film these movies in like horrendous weather conditions and in the books it’s always suppose to be cold and gloomy and the sun can never be out so that’s not fun. And then the second thing is, I’m always the only person with my shirt off, so…I wish just everybody could, you know, do it once and then you know, it would make me feel more comfortable.”

One of The Ali Forney Center’s drop in locations for GLBT youth was made unusable by Hurricane Sandy, displacing the center and all the youth that receive services there. Please help if you can, they do such amazing work.

Buzzfeed has a great collection of photographs from the Million Muppet March in Washington, D.C. I think they came up short of a million, but it’s still great to see.

No Doubt has pulled their video for “Looking Hot” after it was seen as offensive to Native Americans. ““As a multi-racial band our foundation is built upon both diversity and consideration for other cultures. Our intention with our new video was never to No Doubtoffend, hurt or trivialize Native American people, their culture or their history. Although we consulted with Native American friends and Native American studies experts at the University of California, we realize now that we have offended people. This is of great concern to us and we are removing the video immediately.”

Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted has issued a last minute directive shifting the requirements for voting with a provisional ballot, making the identification page the responsibility of the voter and not the poll workers, a move seen as making it easier to invalidate the ballots. This is just the latest in a long line of voter suppression tactics Husted has undertaken in Ohio.

Pennsylvania Attorney General Linda Kelly announced that she was bringing charges against former Penn State president Graham Spanier and former athletic director Timothy Curley in the Jerry Sandusky abuse trial.

When Adrienne Baker and Austin Vitt married, they donned the White Knot ribbons supporting marriage equality, but the straight couple also took it a step further, asking their officiant to read from Goodridge vs. Department of Health, the Massachusetts ruling on marriage equality.

Amanda Palmer is coming out – about her open relationship with Neil Gaiman. Amanda Palmer and Neil Gaiman“I’ve never been comfortable in a monogamous relationship in my life. I feel like I was built for open relationships just because of the way I function. It’s not a reactive decision like, ’Hey I’m on the road, you’re on the road, let’s just find other people.’ It was a fundamental building block of our relationship. We both like things this way.”

The Washington Post is reporting on a new book by Michael Grunwald that claims that the Republicans have had it in for President Obama since before he took office, and planned an obstructionist strategy before he was ever sworn in. While it sounds plausible, even I have trouble being this cynical.

Wreck-It Ralph is anything but a wreck at the box office, heading towards a $50 million opening weekend. Flight will be a distant second at $23 million, with The Man With the Iron Fists opening to only $9 million.

Mark Cuban decided to get in on the billionaire action and offered Donald Trump $1 million to shave his head.

fred savage and danielle fishelA new poll from Grindr for Equality shows that gay men are more concerned with the economy in this election than they are with equality. 46% cite the economy and jobs as most important, while 29% say equality, with healthcare coming in third with 11%.

The Disney Channel is considering a sequel to Boy Meets World, and they want Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel to star. Since their characters married at the end of the series, the new show would focus on their marriage and their preteen daughter.

ABC has signed out Olympian Greg Louganis as a judge for their Celebrity Splash diving show. While the casting was probably obvious, it’s still exciting to see an out, gay, HIV+ man at the center of the show. Now what do we have to do to get Matthew Mitcham at the judges’ table beside him?

A new survey shows that 68% of Republicans believe in demonic possession, which is probably a higher percentage than believe that being gay is an innate trait.Evan Rachel Wood and Jamie Bell

One would think it would go without saying, but Evan Rachel Wood says that just because she married Jamie Bell, she’s still bisexual. Responding to a fan asking if the marriage meant she wasn’t bisexual anymore, she said “No. It just means i am not single anymore ;).” It reminds me of the line that got Billie Joe Armstrong in hot water a few years ago, because he said that he thought of himself as theoretically bisexual, because he’d been in a monogamous relationship with his wife for years.

Ryan Murphy has been teasing Glee a lot as they shoot the Christmas episode. One of the most provocative photos was Chord Overstreet and Heather Morris dressed for a wedding. Their wedding.

Of course this makes no sense to the plot, but when has that ever stopped Glee?

This picture of Brittany makes perfect sense though

Adam Shankman is directing the Christmas episode, but why is Finn wearing his letterman jacket?

Carole and John Barrowman arrive in Minnesota. I wonder if they have time for some last minute campaigning for marriage?

When I interviewed Aaron Ashmore of Warehouse 13, he wanted an artifact that would allow him to fly, but it looks like it was Eddie McClintock who was assigned to bag that particular artifact, which seems unfair.

Maybe Eddie just likes wearing a harness?

 Evan Longoria has serious reflexes

 I found this mesmerizing

Ricky Martin feels NOH8 with Adam Bouska

I always love the New Left Media videos taken with supporters at a Romney rally in Ohio. While I recognize that you can find ignorant people at a rally for either side, there always seems to be a venom to the ones on the right that I find disconcerting. These people will absolutely be voting on Tuesday, and we have to counter every single one of them. I may also have a minor crush on Chase Whiteside.

Chris Hardwick has a problem with Hipster Nerds, since they only love geek things ironically. Personally, I don’t think he goes far enough bashing them, because I think that hipsters in general are a blight.

The Dutch Football Association has put out a reasonably clever anti-homophobia advertisement. Sometimes the best way to get your point across is at the intersection of the literal and the figurative.

Lady Gaga wants to make sure you get out to vote this week, and that you vote for equality. Also, I have no idea why when I look at her in this video, the theme song to I Dream of Jeanie starts playing in my head.

I learned something new in the video for One Direction’s “Little Things” – they can actually play a musical instrument. Seriously though, the guys are really cute, and even though I find the song disingenuous, it has a wonderful message.

Cher and Kathleen Griffin want you to know that this election is too important to be complacent, and they are calling on the LGBTIQ community to get out and vote. Your icons have spoken.

This clip from Glee has Finn having a meltdown about directing the school musical in Mr. Scheuster’s absence, since he basically has no qualifications. I don’t even see how this is legal, but it’s Glee, and it does bring back Mike and Mercedes, so just got with it.

This is the history of the earth in about sixty seconds. It kind of makes you feel small, but special.

Chris Rock has a message for voters of the more pale skinned variety, and while it’s anything but PC, it is funny.

Minnesota for Marriage (the straight kind) has put out this “Broken Promises” ad that’s full of half truths to scare voters. Helpfully, the Boston Globe put out an article debunking the claim that children will be indoctrinated in schools if equality comes to pass, since the claim in the video is based on an incident in Massachusetts that was settled long ago.

The only thing shocking about this Buyral video is that someone hasn’t actually thought of it and tried to implement it already.

In this possibly NSFW video, PETA makes the case that going vegan is good for a man’s sexual performance. Mostly it’s just ridiculous.

Opinionated. You'll love to hate me
